Whether you’re craving a classic Oktoberfest celebration, a fall beer festival, or just a good excuse to enjoy crisp weather with a cold pint in hand, Memphis has you covered. Here’s your guide to the best Oktoberfests and fall beer fests happening around town.

Soul & Spirits Brewery Oktoberfest
September 19, 1–8 p.m.
Soul & Spirits hasn't released full details yet, but based on past years, expect stein holding competitions, a stein tapping, and Hot n' Heavy Dogs and Smoke & Toast food trucks on site at their Uptown brewery. Check their event calendar for updates as the date gets closer.
Wiseacre Oktoberfest
October 3, 12–10 p.m.
Wiseacre's celebrating in style this year, their Oktoberfest just won Bronze at the World Beer Cup, the largest and most prestigious beer competition in the world. Come toast the win at Wiseacre OG on Broad Avenue with stein fills of their medal-winning Oktoberfest, Tiny Bomb, and Sky Dog (BYO stein, max 1L, or buy one there), plus live music and food from Panuzzo King and food trucks on-site.
Grind City Brewing Oktoberfest
October 3
Grind City Brewing is going all out this year with a full day of games, live music, vendors, food trucks, football, and plenty of beer.
Zootoberfest
Every Saturday and Sunday in October, plus Sunday, November 1, 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Sip seasonal craft beer from local breweries like Crosstown, Wiseacre, and Ghost River while you explore the Memphis Zoo. Included with general admission or membership; beer sold separately, 21 and up only.
Hampline's Farewell to Oktoberfest
October 10, 2–8 p.m.
Send off Oktoberfest season with a stein of Hampline's Dunk Tank (a Dunkel brewed with only Munich Malt), Orsoza wood-fired pizzas including a special Oktoberfest version, and live music from the Side Street Steppers from 3–6 p.m. A couple of stein-holding contests will run around 6 p.m., with winners taking home Hampline gift cards. Free and open to all ages, dogs welcome.
Ska-Tober Fest
October 10, 4–10 p.m.
Meddlesome Brewing's annual ska celebration is back, bigger and louder than ever. Expect six live ska bands (The Stepmoms, The Skalors, Stuck Lucky, Runaway Ricochet, Fair Weather Enemies, and Hoperation Ivy), cold drinks and festive brews, food from Hot N Heavy Dogs, and non-stop skanking.
Flyway and the Edge District's Edgetoberfest
October 10, 12–8 p.m.
Head to Flyway Brewing in the Edge District for a day of Oktoberfest activities including a stein-holding contest, keg relays, pretzel necklaces, a vendor market, and an endless stream of their High Cotton Oktoberfest Marzen Lager.
Crosstoberfest
October 17
The 901's favorite fall celebration returns to Crosstown Brewing with local vendors, live music, and the fan-favorite stein-holding contest. Bring your best traditional German outfit and Oktoberfest spirit.
Cooper-Young Beerfest
October 17, 1-5 p.m.
More than 30 regional breweries pour for unlimited sampling at this longtime Cooper-Young favorite, which benefits the Cooper-Young Community Association. It's one of the city's biggest beer festivals, so grab tickets early — this one tends to sell out.
Oktoberfest at Overton Square
October 24, 12–5 p.m.
Soul & Spirits takes the German celebration outdoors to Chimes Square to close out the month, with traditional German beer and food, polka and folk music, games, and a local makers market.
